Natural weeding and pest repelling !
Tagetes ‘Tenuifolia’ - these are lovely little annual flowers, absolutely ideal as beautiful bordering companion plants.
With all the ‘Tagetes’ properties, these along with the ‘Patula’ are perhaps the prettiest of the range. Growing about 8 inches high [Oh, all right - 20 cm] they do like a nice sunny position, and well-drained soil.
You can start them in the greenhouse around March time - using biodegradable coir pots or plugs perhaps - or sow them out directly late spring.
Keep deadheading - they will flower all summer long, and perhaps well into autumn.
These can form a lovely rising mound of foliage and colour planted with ‘Lucida’ and ‘Patula’
